The second resort in Vegas without resort fees is Binion's, also found along Fremont Street. Binion's Hotel Apache opened in 1932 and is rumored to be haunted. After being shuttered for an extended period, Binion's Hotel Apache is open and was renovated to celebrate its rich history. Casino Royale is the only casino resort on the Strip that doesn't charge a resort fee. While I enjoy the old-school vibe in the casino, I was less than enthused by my hotel stay. Lastly, TI allows guests to opt out of paying a resort fee by booking their TV Ad Special specifically, however you do have to forfeit some resort amenities like wifi. This would be my pick for the best resort fee-free hotel option in Vegas - The rooms are rock solid, and the resort experience is great.
