Reno officials held a news conference to update the public on Monday morning's shooting at Grand Sierra Resort in Reno that left three people dead. Six individuals were shot outside the Grand Sierra Resort. he Sparks Police Department Chief confirmed that two victims died at the scene, and a third passed away at a local hospital after being transported by ambulance. Later, an officer-involved shooting unfolded in the GSR's parking lot. After locating the suspect, several officers discharged their weapons, hitting the individual. The shooting suspect and multiple victims were then transported to a local hospital; the suspect and two victims are currently in critical condition. One victim has since been released. Police have stated there is no clear link between the shooter and any of the victims. Only one officer suffered minor injuries, potentially from glass fragments, during the incident.
