In this video, we put the spotlight on the new rooms in the Versailles tower at Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino in Nevada and check out their Versailles pool view room with one king sized bed. Paris first opened in Las Vegas in September 1999 and, in 2023, it was announced that the 756-room Jubilee tower of the Horseshoe Las Vegas (formerly Bally's) would be incorporated into Paris Las Vegas as the Versailles tower. The $100 million project is expected to conclude by the end of 2023 but, as of January 2024, construction is still happening. The tower's height will be increased 17 feet with a Parisian-style roof, and guest balconies will be added as well (with Bellagio views), in addition to a skybridge connecting to the original Paris hotel tower. Day 35 of my backpacking journey from Zion National Park to Green River, Utah in spring of 2022. On this day in early June I hiked up through Little Wild Horse Slot Canyon in the San Rafael Reef. It was much busier than when I first did it about 15 years ago and had the canyon to myself! For good reason though as it's an awesome slot canyon w/o any major obstacles (thought still not easy with a big pack.) Once atop the canyon I followed the ATV route northeast behind the reef passing Chute and Crack Canyons before cutting down into the reef again via Wild Horse Canyon. I hope you enjoy this vlog-style experiment with daily videos to re-live my big hike from 2022. Some days will be short, some will be long -- but each will represent one day of hiking and hopefully include something new and fun to watch! Thanks for watching!
