💩 ¿Cómo se hacía caca antiguamente? ¿Todo el mundo hacía caca igual? Pues evidentemente, no, en la vida siempre ha habido clases. Hoy os enseño uno de los aseos del Palacio de Rosenborg, en Copenhague (Dinamarca). Rosenborg slot es un castillo-palacio que se construyó en el año 1606 como casa de campo veraniega para el rey Christian IV de Dinamarca (1577-1648). 👑🚽Este era originalmente el retrete privado del monarca (en su momento llamado “El Secreto”). Era el más bajo de tres retretes, cada uno con su propio conducto de residuos y en origen estaba equipado con una puerta en la pared que conducía al cuarto de baño adyacente. El retrete funcionaba de tal manera que, después de usarlo, se “tiraba de la cadena” con agua de un recipiente y los residuos iban a parar al foso que rodeaba el castillo. El techo de estuco de este retrete sí data de la época de Christian IV y presumiblemente fue ejecutado por Valentin Dresler, pero los azulejos azules y blancos de estilo y manufactura holandesa de las paredes se instalaron durante la renovación de castillo por el rey Federico IV en 1705. Muchos sin aún los originales, aunque en el siglo XIX los azulejos se completaron probablemente con otros que se fabricaron para el castillo del Hermitage en 1736 en una fábrica de Store Kongensgade. Como curiosidad, uno de los azulejos está mal colocado.
