I traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada to see The Mirage Resort & Casino just a week before its permanent closure and demolition on July 17, 2024. This historically significant location was the first-ever "mega resort" in Las Vegas, so this vidoe delves into the history of the resort and the inspiration it provided for all following attractions on the Strip. The tour covers the Steve Wynn-related background, architecture, gardens, indoor atrium conservatory, artwork, as well as several showings of the Mirage Volcano which will be demolished. The video also references the former Seigfried & Roy show and Secret Garden as well as The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil show that just ended.
