For the past years her research (which explores and mixes different languages including sculpture, photography, painting and installation) has been deeply influenced by a series of trips through Morocco and the Mediterranean basin. With the collaboration of sound duo Borromini, of pianist Ornella Cerniglia and Amir Abbara, for Casino Palermo Oli Bonzanigo revived the Canzoniere of the Arab poet Ibn Hamdis (1056-1133) through an exercise of demolition and recomposition of some of its original verses, of its Italian translation by Michele Amari (1806-1886), and the Visions Fugitives of Russian composer Sergej Prokofiev (1917)
